This training will be located at the Borderline facility and hosted by Lonnie Shereck and the boys from Valley Borders.  We will have many trainers here to help so you can get as much instruction as possible.  This event is for anyone who curbs no matter your experience level or what machine you run.  We don't discrimminate and are here to help all those who curb or are about to start. 

 Day 1 (Thurs), is devoted to you following our curbing crew to see how they operate on several jobs.    Day 2 (Fri), is your full day of basic training.  Day 3 (Sat), is for those who are staying for the Advanced Stone course, this will approx end at 1pm.

Day 1 - May 25th - This is your opportunity to job shadow our curbing company, Valley Borders.  It is extremely valuable to see an experienced crew on several different properties.  Each site has it's own challenges that we can't show you in a normal basic training.  You will really gain alot of knowledge from the "Curbing Mercs" on this day. (Hills, angles, stops, starts, sprinklers, prep, paint, ect)

Day 2 May 26th - We will do a complete basic training for anyone who needs help with mixing, finishing, stamping, coloring, and running a curb machine.  Bring your work clothes and be ready as learning isn't done by just observing, you must be hands-on and feel the machine, trowel, and mix.  Each attendee will be asked to mix his own batches and then run his batch through a sting.  You must understand the how's and why's of mixing as it correlates to the curb machine.  If you run a dry mix we want you to feel that dry mix through the machine as well as on the trowel, that way you know how to adjust the next.  We will have several machines and instructors at the ready so you won't be alone.  This day is a must for those just starting or ones who are struggling.  We will do curves, tree rings, islands, stops, starts, cut downs, and anything else you might encounter on a property.  After these 2 days you should have the confidence to begin your new journey or much better at your existing one. 

 *If you choose to only attend day 1 , the cost will be $250 for you and one other person.  This will also include Curb University swag.  If you have more people that want to come (past the first 2), each person will be $50.

Day 3 - May 27th- We devote this day to those who don't want to settle for being average.  Borderline's advanced training and the results truly speaks for itself as you can see on curbuniversity.com.  Learn every technique and have access to all the tools to create your own stone.  Set yourself apart from the others in your area and create your own price point.  We will go through all of Borderline's Dakota Stamp Kits and the Borderline Carve Kit.  We will also have several new kits like the Missouri River Flagstone, Fractured Quartz, Petrified, and Whiskey Shale.   Change your curbing game, don't settle... Become a "stoner".

* The cost for Day 2 is $2500.  This includes all of Day 1.  You will also receive the Borderline Carve Kit, access to all of curb university and the online training course, and  Membership to Borderline Stonemakers Facebook.   AS OF DEC 2021 THE CARVING KIT NOW ALSO INCLUDES THE MISSOURI FLAGSTONE AND FRACTURED QUARTZ STAMP SETS!!!

There are tons of Hotels close to our location so please do a google search to find them.  The address for Borderline is in Mandan, which is right across the river, please use that address to search for hotels close.  Bismarck/Mandan is not a huge metro area so its very easy to get around.  There is only one airport in Bismarck with connectors to Minneapolis and Denver so please take a look at those schedules.
